Jeffrey S. Muir brings over 20 years of experience in reviewing, advising, financing and structuring M&A deals to Beacon Equity Advisors.  Since joining Beacon, Jeff successfully completed multi-million dollar transactions, including one client who was the largest manufacturer of a product in the world, and provided his clients the business exit they sought.

Jeff has also worked with clients on both certified and market analysis valuations and as a coach to prepare companies for sale utilizing Beacon’s Pothole Analysis to help sellers maximize their long-term value.

Prior to joining Beacon, Jeff was a Vice President for a New England based bank where he assisted buyers of closely held companies to raise capital for the initial acquisition and as they grew and expanded into larger facilities and new markets.  During his tenure he underwrote in excess of $100 million in financing throughout New England and actively managed a $40 million loan portfolio that featured manufacturers, high tech companies and professional service providers among many industries.

The key to finding the right buyer is understanding the business and its market.  His ability to quickly assess the deal and the players keeps deals on track and moving towards closing.  Much of this success is due to cultivating personal relationships with company management and their advisors. Mr. Muir is a member of the Boston Chapter of The Exit Planning Exchange, the Association for Corporate Growth, the Gasson Society of Boston College and Thorny Lea Golf Club.  He serves as a Vice President of the Boston College Gridiron Club and the Treasurer of the Easton Youth Baseball League.  He enjoys coaching youth sports and playing golf.
