Mr. Humphrey created Pothole Analysis ™, a customized review of 20 aspects of a business in the years leading up to the owners’ exit. The objective of this analysis is to uncover areas where business operations could benefit from small changes to materially enhance the perception of a business from a buyers’ viewpoint, thus increasing value
Prior to Beacon Equity Advisors, Mr. Humphrey assisted hundreds of businesses achieve their goal of growing into successful, thriving companies, as owner and operator of a full service accounting firm.
Professional credentials include Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), and Licensed Real Estate Broker in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and State of Rhode Island. Mr. Humphrey is also the past president of Massachusetts Chapter of the NACVA, and is currently a board member of the State Chapter.
Mr. Humphrey will be publishing a Study of EBITDAs of publicly traded Micro-Cap companies to be an additional tool used in valuation and sale of closely held businesses.
